In the last few months, ‘2020 vision’ has taken on a new meaning. Coronavirus has shattered assumptions and offered new insights. Even as business models collapsed and millions were put out of work, pollution plummeted, peace reigned; we could observe experiments in universal income and saw rough-sleeping ended overnight. Governments across the world stopped worrying about deficits. It’s all brought calls to ‘build back better’.
