Here’s a companion pair of Departure Lounge, by prolific poet John Barnie (his latest collection) and Wired to the Dynamo, (a portmanteau of poetry, prose, reminiscences and interviews all celebrating John Barnie, now in his mid-seventies). This is the John Barnie who for more than fifteen years was editor of Planet: The Welsh Internationalist – some feat in a period when, according to Matthew Jarvis, that meant six editions of the magazine per year.
