Horatio Clare’s first novel for children, Aubrey and the Terrible Yoot won the Branford Boase Award for debut children’s authors. The book was unusual in that it treated, in a highly imaginative way, a very serious subject. About the author

Caroline Clark has lived in Aberystwyth since 1978. For most of that time she has been actively involved with community theatre. She is a published writer of short stories and poems and is bringing out a poetry collection later this year.
