Video and podcast on the stage production of Y Twr
We visit Steffan Donnelly and Catherine Ayers and the rest of the crew on the penultimate night of rehearsals for their tour of the iconic play by Gwenlyn Parry, Y Twr.
Following on from their production of another of Parry's works, Saer Doliau, we talk about why they chose to revisit the playwright, how they went about constructing the narrative on stage and why they felt it was necessary to supply surtitles for the production.
Below you can also listen to a podcast we recorded with Dr Roger Owen and Ffion Jones who were at the opening night and who offer their ideas on the play and where it is placed by this latest production.
